Upon
deciding what your coupons will be kept in, whether
it be a booklet, magnetic holder or a grocery cart pouch,
you can sort them appropriately. First of all you need
to sort them by the kind that they are, all of the grocery
coupons will go together, all of the paper goods will
go together and so on. From here sort the mini categories
of coupons by the date that they expire. As you can
see this takes little effort and really will save you
a lot of time looking for the coupon you need and ensure
that you will use the coupon before it expires.
To
avoid cluttering up your coupon organizer be sure to
throw away coupons that have expired and never keep
any coupons that are for things that you know you will
never buy. Avoiding to put coupons of things that you
do not normally buy can be a good thing too, saving
a dollar on something that you don't need won't really
be saving you any money when you have to pay five dollars
for it. How you decide what coupons will make it into
your coupon holder will be up to you, just be sure to
organize them.
